Heating and Cooling Tips
- Make sure to change your furnace filter every month or every 6-12 months if you have a media-type filter. Dirt and dust can cause furnace parts to clog making the furnace to work harder. Without dealing with this issue it can cause the furnace to break down.
- Vacuum registers and vents on a regular basis
- Keep furniture and drapes away from registers, radiators, and heaters
- Keep the fan set to “on” instead of “auto” on your thermostat, this will allow constant and consistent airflow
- Have your heating and cooling system checked by a technician once a year to make sure the systems are up and working properly

- Check filter. Is it clean? Does it need to be changed?
